The Crumb Tray: Flavorful Southern Comfort Food & Fresh Local Eats in Hopkinsville, KY

Great experience. Server was super friendly. We had voodoo fries and onion rings for appetizers. They were both fresh and very good. My wife had fish and spaghetti. Stand combo but she liked it. I had the Scooby sandwich, very delicious with generous portions of roasted turkey with ham and bacon with cheese.

Everything, and I mean everything we ate was wonderful. My husband got the shrimp and grits and they were some of the best grits we have ever had. They had so much flavor down to the grits themselves which you could tell were not just some run of the mill grits and had a lot of corn flavor still (if that makes sense). I had the catfish and normally I love tartare sauce, but this fish didn’t need it. The coating was fresh, crispy, and flavorful. Even the sweet tea was amazing! I like my tea to have a strong tea flavor, and this does. The kids meals were a good size and you could tell they put care into them like they would the adult food. My kids loved it. We will be back. I’m so excited we live close by, because I think this will have to become a regular place for us. The staff was also wonderful and attentive. Price point was very reasonable.

My expectations were cautiously optimistic as this location doesn't have the best history of success, but I was thoroughly blown away! The food was amazing and tastefully presented. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The sweet tea was sweet! I will definitely be back and will recommend The Crumb Tray to my friends.

Food was great, hot, fresh, and came out quickly. Our server wasn’t quite as attentive as I would’ve liked, especially with a party of six (four adults and two kids), but overall service was okay. The kids menu had a few good options and some space for drawing, which helped keep the little ones entertained. We ordered two Waffle Wonder plates, one with bacon and the other with smoked sausage. The waffles were big, thick, and cooked perfectly. The bacon was crispy without being overdone, and the smoked sausage had great flavor. The kids had chicken tenders, which looked good and apparently tasted just as good. As a longtime Hoptown local, I’ve seen a lot of restaurants come and go in this spot. It’s nice to see one doing things right. That said, the chairs could definitely use an update since they’re pretty wobbly and uncomfortable. Overall, solid food and quick service with just a few areas for improvement. I’d come back again. Food 5/5 Atmosphere 4/5 Service 4/5

This place is a great restaurant. The service is great, and Gigi is an amazing waitress. If you go i recommend the Shrimp and Grits or the Fries. I do recommend, very awesome.

As you can see, I didn’t even get a photo before I started digging in. The service was good and casual. The place echos so I wouldn’t recommend a large party just for the sanity of others. This was the shrimp and grits but that corn dip was fire too.

My wife and I stopped in today to check this place out. First off the service and atmosphere was lovely. Our food was hot, fresh and tasty. I got the stromboli and my wife got the birria grilled cheese. The food was well seasoned, the fries were amazing and the birria in particular was both very good and quite spicy. We'll be back, and I recommend everyone check it out! It's a little different and it fills a gap in the food scene in Hopkinsville with very fresh, strong flavours! They're super friendly!

My sister and I really enjoyed our lunch here! I tried the pulled pork sandwich and she had the Stromboli sandwich. Both were really delicious! And their fries are some of the best I’ve ever had!
